Things To Do in Los Angeles
Los Angeles, aside from being the second largest city in the US, is one of the world’s most famous tourist destinations. People are drawn to Los Angeles because it is the city where dreams come true; it’s where some of the world’s biggest stars got their first break.
If you’re planning a visit to Los Angeles, be sure to pack a good camera: you never know if you’ll run into a world-famous star of the big screen! There are many tours you can take from Los Angeles that will guide you through Hollywood, stopping at Hollywood Boulevard where you can compare hand and footprints with the likes of Marilyn Monroe and John Wayne, then through the posh streets of Beverly Hills, with a shopping excursion on the famous Rodeo Drive.
If the glitz and glamour of celebrity life aren't thrilling to you, have no fear; there are plenty of other attractions in Los Angeles. To start, you can visit one of the area's famous museums: the J. Paul Getty Center. You will simply be in awe of the magnificent artwork housed within these walls. The museum’s collection includes pieces from Van Gogh, Monet, and Cezanne. Other famous museums in the area include the Japanese American National Museum, and the Petersen Automotive Museum. And, of course, if you don't get your fill of real-life celebrities, you can always see them all at Madame Tusseud’s wax museum.
A trip to L.A. wouldn’t be complete without at least a short visit to the Venice boardwalk. Venice Beach is a very diverse place with a lot to see and do. Visitors to the boardwalk can expect street performers, dancers, and drum circles to contribute to the excitement of the moment.
One thing is certain about a visit to Los Angeles: with so much to see and do -- it just isn’t possible to be bored!
